Future Ready website launched
Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash, Minister for Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business and the Hon Steve Irons MP, Assistant Minister for Vocational Education, Training and Apprenticeships released the resources developed under Future Ready: A student focused National Career Education Strategy.
The resources include toolkits to support school and industry partnerships, articles for parents to have conversations about post-school studies and apprenticeships, Illustrations of Practice videos raising the awareness of the importance of career education in schools, research reports, and examples of transition programs as well as previously developed resources supporting VET delivered to secondary students.
These integrate more broadly into the work of the National Careers Institute to support the delivery of high quality, evidence-based career development and enable Australians to make informed decisions about their learning, training and work pathways.
