Release of Department of Jobs and Small Business’ workforce shortage research results

The Department of Jobs and Small Business has released the 2018 results of its ongoing workforce shortage research. This is a regular, six monthly update on the Department’s website at https://www.jobs.gov.au/skillshortages.

The detailed release of the research results includes:

• a large number of occupational reports analysing the labour market for trades workers (including engineering, automotive, construction, food and electrotechnology trades workers) and child care occupations which can be found at https://www.jobs.gov.au/occupational-skill-shortages-information.

• the Ratings Summary – Labour Market Analysis of Skilled Occupations document which can be found at https://docs.jobs.gov.au/documents/ratings-summary-labour-market-analysis-skilled-occupations . This document provides a list of labour market ratings for skilled occupations assessed by the Department.
