Project Positions Available Year 9 Career Planning Service – NOW OPEN!

The Department of Education and Training has engaged the CEAV to deliver the Professional Career Planning Service for all Year 9 students in Victorian government schools in 2019.  CEAV will work with our member Career Analysts Pty Ltd to deliver this service across the state.

All Year 9 students in Victorian Government Schools will be offered the Morrisby Online career diagnostic assessment from Term 1, 2019.

CEAV has nine (9) new positions available to support this project. We are seeking applications for eight (8) Regional Career Coordinators and one (1) Project Officer – Technical and IT Support see below for a link to the Position Descriptions and application process. We are also seeking EOI’s from qualified private career consultants who would like to work on this project.

Regional Career Coordinators

The CEAV is seeking to appoint qualified career development practitioners as Regional Career Coordinators to work directly with schools in the delivery of the Career Planning Service. Each Regional Coordinator will manage a team of qualified and accredited career practitioners who will undertake the 1:1 career counselling sessions with the Year 9 students. CEAV has eight full-time positions available for an immediate start.

Project Officer – Technical and IT Support

The CEAV will provide IT Support and Helpdesk to all schools during the school year for the Career Planning Service.  CEAV has one full-time position available for an immediate start. Graduating Year 12 students with VET qualifications are welcome to apply.

CEAV is also seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified private career consultants who would like to work on this project.

Career Consultants – EOI

Career Consultants will deliver one-on-one career guidance sessions of 45 minutes for each Year 9 student who has completed the Morrisby Online diagnostic assessment. The career guidance session will use the results of the diagnostic assessment as the basis for further career exploration with the student (and parent/carer if they wish) of the student’s interests, values, aptitudes, personality and career aspirations. The session includes 30 minutes of analysis with student and parent/carer if available and 15 minutes of counselling notes write up. CEAV will consider full time and part time consultants for this project.
