Consultation on the transparency of higher education admissions process
Senator the Hon Simon Birmingham, Minister for Education and Training, has asked the Higher Education Standards Panel to advise him on options for improving the transparency of higher education admissions processes. I am writing to invite CICA’s input to the Panel’s consideration of these matters.
The Panel will hold a public consultation on admissions transparency issues. Below is a copy of the paper the Panel will issue for this purpose. The paper will be published on the Department of Education and Training website at the end of the week. The Panel has called for submissions until the end of May 2016.
CICA will make a submission to the Panel through the public process. In addition, CICA has been invited to appear before the Panel at hearings in Canberra on 20 May 2016.
